Ramen Madness to Strike Porter Square

Cambridge is apparently getting a new ramen shop, and it may just be YUMEWOKATARE, which had been rumored to be headed this way. A post on Chowhound says that a ramen shop is moving into what was formerly Zing! Pizza on Mass Ave, and that "Some of the signs indicate it might be called YUMEWOKATARE or something similar." Back in May Eater received an email from the owner of YUMEWOKATARE, who said he dreamt of going international and loved Boston. Meanwhile, NYC's Minca also expressed interest in coming to town.

All of the Porter Square ramen speculation started after another Chowhound poster caught wind of a potential newcomer from one of the ramen stalls at the Haru Matsuri festival. Meanwhile, yet another poster notes that if the Porter-bound shop is indeed YUMEWOKATARE, it may feature ramen in the Jiro tradition. Know anything else about Cambridge's imminent ramen invasion?
