Last night marked the official debut of local cocktail legend Brother Cleve at First Printer in Harvard Square. Cleve has been tapped to create a new cocktail program for the bar, and the legend himself plans to be on hand mixing for the next month or so. Cleve frequently pops up around town, but rarely for this long, so this makes for a unique opportunity to drink cocktails straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. The new program's debut seemed to go smoothly, but wasn't nearly as smooth as Cleve's almost impossibly velvety pisco sour. There was also a drink commemorating what would have been Julia Child's 100th birthday - oh, did you hear about that? See below for a working copy of Cleve's offerings.
