Brewer's Coalition Now Serving Till 1am: Damn, Newton!

Photo: Facebook/Brewer's Coaltion

If somehow there isn't enough craft beer in Boston proper to slake your thirst, consider shlepping out to the brand spankin' new Brewer's Coalition, which is now open, says the Newton Patch. The restaurant and bar opened on Monday on Walnut Street in Newtonville in what was formerly the Mediterranean restaurant C. Tsar's and a Watch City Brewery outpost before that, and comes from the owner of John Brewer’s Tavern (Waltham, Malden). Brewer's Coalition boasts 50 craft beers, and, now this is cute, will bring "a bit of nightlife to the area" thanks to a closing time of 1am six days a week (and midnight on Sundays). Newtonville, who are you all of the sudden!?
