Yesterday Kendall Square French-inspired hotspot West Bridge announced its plans to do lunch, starting Monday, July 9. Today, the restaurant has shared a look at the new menu, which you'll find below. Highlights include a corned beef tongue Reuben with kohlrabi slaw and tuna a la plancha, with trumpet mushrooms, artichoke and olives. Also, pudding. Says chef Matthew Gaudet of the menu: "It is inspired by the bagged lunches I took with me to school when I was young (minus the foie mustard and guanciale)." The new menu will be available from 11:30am to 2:30pm. One correction: the GLT (guanciale, lettuce and tomato) is made with Fontina, not Taleggio.
