Plans for the proposed South Boston Tasty Burger expansion are being revisited as the company considers input from a recent community meeting. Boston.com reports that the owners "have withdrawn their application with the city’s Licensing Board and will be back in front of the community Monday night," which suggests that Tasty Burger is still intent on making the move. The next meeting with community members will take place this coming Monday, July 9, at 6:30pm at at the Tynan Community Center cafeteria on East 4th Street. Says Franklin Group CEO David DuBois "We just want to hear what everyone has to say and we’ll decide what to do from there."
Update: DuBois tells Eater that "we are not wavering on going into Southie in any way, we jut want to make certain we are addressing the concerns of the neighborhood."
