Betty's Wok and Noodle Diner on Huntington Ave is now closed, and may be forever. The restaurant's voicemail says that it is "currently closed and will be indefinitely" and a post on Chowhound reports that there's a sign on the front that says the same and observes that "a lot of furnishings have been removed." Boston Restaurant Talk notes that Betty's opened in 1999 and served "Asian/Latino fusion cuisine" including geographically disorienting dishes like "wontons in a Cuban dip." Perhaps the diner will find a way to rise from the ashes in some way shape or form, but there's no further word on what will happen to the space for now. However it's not far from one of two upcoming Five Guys locations.
