Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts' East Cambridge restaurant Technique has announced some changes, including expanded hours and higher prices. Yesterday Technique started taking dinner reservations Tuesday through Friday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, which pushes service back a half hour later than it used to be, and in August the restaurant hopes to expand its lunch hours, which currently run from 11:30am to 1:30pm. It also plans to increase its beer and wine offerings. The restaurant will also be upping its prices. In a shared statement, Technique says that its practice of "offering unbelievable prices... was not sustainable for the long-term success of our school." Still, the restaurant claims the new prices will fall below "what a meal of this high caliber could command." Have you been to Technique recently?
