Boston College students will now have to find other things to debate with the closure of one of Cleveland Circle's two long-lived pizza shops, Presto Pizzeria. Both Presto and Pino's, located just a few storefronts apart, have offered cheap, huge slices in Brighton for decades, fueling endless late night discussions of which had the best pizza. (Presto's choice of decoration was often a deciding factor. Were you in the mood to dine under a tree that took up nearly half the restaurant?) Aside from slices and regular pizzas, Presto also offered "two footer" and "Sicilian grandma" pizzas, calzones, pasta, subs, and sandwiches. It appears to have closed last month, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
