Fort Point to Get Two Chinese Restaurants?

Photo: Simply Ming on Facebook

Fort Point may be poised to get two new Chinese restaurants. Boston Restaurant Talk reports that a business called Beijing Taste has received a license to operate at 15 Channel Center Street (no word on whether it is connected to Charlestown's Beijing Taste), but a commenter disputes this, explaining that at that address, there's a residential artist's live/work space with a concert hall. The commenter goes on to say that there is a Chinese restaurant possibly coming to town, though, and it will be helmed by Ming Tsai. It will apparently be located at 324 A Street, and it is currently in the community vetting process. Grub Street Boston confirms that there's talk about Tsai coming to Fort Point, but of course plans are as up in the air as whatever Ming is throwing in this photo.
