Here's a Look Inside Granary Tavern

Last month The Glynn Hospitality Group opened the doors to Granary Tavern in the Financial District, a whiskey stone's throw from the Greenway. If you haven't been in yet, here's a look inside so that you can pretend like you have. Granary Tavern is the ninth venue for Glynn, which plans to close The Purple Shamrock in September and open Sterling's this August. Granary Tavern is what you might get if you called central casting and asked for a contemporary downtown restaurant circa 2012 or 1890. The interior is classed-up rustic, as is the menu, which features hearty, retro fare like Scotch eggs, steak & chopped salad, flatbreads and grilled lobster. Put it this way: if you go looking for charcuterie served on a board and cocktails in mason jars, you won't be disappointed.
