Instant Aussie-Eastie darling KO Pies at the Shipyard has officially ended its soft-opening phase, is now serving its full menu, and is open during all set hours. The restaurant is a bigger, more extensive relation (fat uncle) of KO Catering & Pies in Southie and tentatively opened its doors in mid-June, adding more dishes bit by bit. With its waterfront location and a former galley cook for an owner, the new KO is one of few Boston restaurants to tout its "yacht provisions." Menu items include the namesake savory pies as well as salads, sandwiches, desserts and more. KO Pies at the Shipyard is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11am to 10pm, and yes, that means weekend brunch.
