Sample Spice Market; Boston's First Juice Truck?

THEATER DISTRICT- International superstar chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten opened Market in Boston rather than Spice Market, another more aromatic concept of his that you'll find in NYC and Atlanta. But Market will soon offer a glimpse of the dishes of Spice Market with its Late Night Spice series. Internationally inspired small plates will be available for $10 at the bar on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00pm to 12:00am. Could Vongerichten be testing the waters for a full-fledged Spice Market in Boston? [Official Site]

EASTIE - Plans for a massive waterfront development at New Street have been scaled back, but don't worry; they're still going to include a restaurant. Given the $90 million cost of the new complex, it had better be some restaurant. [Curbed]

HUB-WIDE - Mother Juice aims to be Boston's first juice truck, provided it can raise the necessary funds. The company plans to sell liquified produce from local farms - as in pineapple, cucumber, pepper, and basil juice - at food (juice) truck stops and farmers markets around town, turning the leftover pulp into other creations including baked goods, sorbets and popsicles.
