Gyu-Kaku To Take the Place of Ginza Later This Year

Photo: Ginza

Ginza, a Japanese restaurant on Beacon Street in Brookline, will close later this year to make way for Gyu-Kaku, a Japanese BBQ chain, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. While there is no set closing date for Ginza at this point, Gyu-Kaku did tell Eater that the earliest they would open the new spot is November of this year. The restaurant will seat approximately 130 people. Gyu-Kaku is described as an exotic and interactive Japanese BBQ concept, in which customers actually cook their own food. Gyu-Kaku already has locations in major cities in the United States and around the world though this will be the first in Massachusetts.
