Gaze at The Spectacular Tip Tap Room, Opening Monday

The Tip Tap Room, chef Brian Poe's much awaited Beacon Hill follow-up to Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake, opens on Monday, and here's a look inside to whet your appetite. The restaurant wins the award for concept-most-closely-tied-to name. The menu is dominated by creative presentations of tips (like steak tips) and the bar features 36 taps through which will flow a wealth of beer. Also, there's four walls and a roof overhead, hence the "room" component. A sample tip dish: emu tips marinated with beer and ginger, served with peach and basil slaw.
