Assault With Wasabi as a Weapon; SDLT's New Chef

BACK BAY - L’Espalier alum Justin Urso is in as Sel de la Terre's new chef de cuisine. He kicked things off with a one-night only five-course Spanish menu last week and surely has more new surprises in store. [Official Site]

THE CAPE - A Barnstable man has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and the dangerous weapon was "wasabi sauce," poured on a pair of jeans and then thrust in someone's face. Though the victim was not seriously injured, a local police sergeant reports that "It must have been intense in the eyes." [CBS]
