Q's Nuts Nut Shop to Take Somerville by Storm

Somerville is in the midst of huge dining boom, and now the Davis Square food scene is literally about to get nuts. The Somerville-based nut retailer Q's Nuts has now announced plans to open a storefront slated for July in the former Pick and Go Convenience at Willow and Highland, says the Somerville Patch, where it will dish out nuts of many types and flavors, including pecans with Mexican chocolate, Key Lime and ginger cashews, almonds flavored with cayenne and mango and rosemary and sea salt plus spicy cashews. Until now the nuts had only been available at farmers markets and coffee shops and specialty food shops like Darwin's and Dave's Fresh Pasta, but now Somervillians will finally have a nut brick and mortar to supply all their regular nut needs.
