Rosa Mexicanowill officially open on Tuesday, May 8, says Boston.com, thereby unleashing yet even more upscale Mexican cuisine on the Waterfront. (What is this, 2011?) The NY-based restaurant chain, which has 13 locations in the U.S. and abroad, will opens its doors for dinner at 155 Seaport Blvd on Tuesday with a grand opening planned for May 14. The kitchen of the 300 seat restaurant will be run by Darren Carbone, who previously served as executive chef at La Verdad. And Rosa Mexicano doesn't plan on going anywhere anytime soon: it already signed a 15-year lease.
