It appears as though the ramen shop rumored to be coming to Porter Square may be YUMEWOKATARE, a chain with five locations in Japan. Shortly after Eater made an inquiry about the rumor, an email arrived from one Tsuyoshi Nishioka, a "ra-men restaurant owner" from Kyoto. Nishioka says that YUMEWOKATARE means "talk about your dream," and that his personal dream is to own businesses the world-over, presumably including Boston. "I love this city... Boston is the location of my second life," he says. While there's already ramen at Sapporo in the Porter Exchange, it would seem that Boston could certainly do with a few more places to slurp.
