Streetcar Wine & Beer Eyes June Opening

JP hopeful Streetcar Wine & Beer reports that it has gotten approval from the city's licensing board and is therefore one step closer to opening. An earlier post on the company's blog declares "The plywood is down, the windows are up, and we’re firing on all cylinders inside" and says it's hoping for a June opening. The owner previously compared his vision to Central Bottle in Cambridge. The Jamaica Plain Patch reports that the shop will sell local beer and wine, and a representative from the store tells Eater that they'll carry international products as well. But not candy, since it's near a school and doesn't want to attract the wrong crowd.
