Rafiki Bistro Is No More

Though the coffee mug icon on the tab for its website is still steaming, Rafiki Bistro on Mass Ave in Cambridge is now closed. The restaurant's Facebook page says that it "closed its doors for the last time" this past Saturday, May 26. It also thanks patrons and hints that "an exciting new restaurant" is coming this fall, apparently to the same space or elsewhere by the same team. Boston Restaurant Talk notes that Rafiki opened in 2010, taking the place of the former longtime Forest Cafe, there sine the 1930's.
