Chinatown will soon gain a trendy new "pan-Asian tapas" restaurant called Shojo, says Chowder. Shojo is headed for 11 Tyler Street, right beneath dim sum staple China Pearl, and will serve a mix of traditional and fusion dishes including Peking duck, whole suckling pig, poached lobster with kimchi butter, and sesame conch ceviche. A bartender job posting on BostonChefs.com says ask for "knowledge of Asian beer, sake, soju, ability to create new drinks," so it sounds like the drink program will be equally playful. Chowder says Shojo might open "as soon as July 1."
