Zagat's Crazy Top 5 Italian List; Catalyst's New Patio Menu

KENDALL SQUARE - Hello, magnums of rosé! On June 1, Catalyst presents a new patio menu with dishes that shriek summer, like crispy pork ribs with endive-carrot slaw, fried clams with pickled peppers and a daily in-house ice cream. [Official Site]

HUB-WIDE - Zagat says that these are Boston's five best Italian restaurants, even though two of them aren't really Italian (one has a French name) and one is in Waltham: Sorellina, Carmen, No. 9 Park, Menton, La Campania. Zagat also says something no one in Boston would say: "Let's face it - the Boston dining scene is Boot-crazy." [Z]

NORTH END - Don't forget, the benefit for Neptune Oyster server Vinny Sapochetti is this coming Monday, May 28. Server Not Servant shares some thoughts: "Vinny Sapochetti is a very lucky man. First, he survived a terrifying car accident on April 20th, and second, he has a lot of family members, co-workers, friends, and customers who care about him and love him very much."
