Action on the Common: Bento Express, Earl of Sandwich

Spring is in the air, and restaurant life is stirring once again on the Common. Bejing on the Common closed at the end of last summer - final Yelp review: "Do your vegetables pratically sweat grease?" - and now restaurant critic MC Slim JB has a tip on what's to replace it: Bento Express. No word yet on whether this Bento Express is related to the many similarly generically named others around the country. Slim makes that observation on a Chowhound post, where he also notes that construction in the Boston Common structure known as the Pink Palace is now "going full bore." Earlier reports have the Earl of Sandwich chain signing a fifteen year lease on the building, which is said to need two years of work and nearly $1 million in renovations.
