Olives Officially Opens, Kingfish Hall Really Seems Closed

Todd English Enterprises insisted that Kingfish Hall wasn't closing, despite reductions in both hours of operation and menu offerings. Excuses included it being a slow point in the season and remodeling. "Well, Kingfish Hall appears to be done," says the Globe, which quotes English as saying "There's a new landlord, and I'm trying to renegotiate, but it's probably not going to happen... I'll probably just move on from there and look for something else down the road." Earlier suggestions that Kingfish would close as Olives reopened seem to have been spot-on: in the same article, the Globe says Olives officially opens today.
