A spokesperson for Sel de la Terre says that the restaurant's original location on State Street will officially close to the public this coming Sunday, April 29. Not that there's anything wrong with the place; chef/co-owner Frank McClelland says he was simply approached with an offer he couldn't refuse, which is why the space will become City Landing this summer. In its eleventh hour, SDLT went out with a series of pop-ups including a preview menu for chef Daniel Bojorquez's upcoming restaurant La Brasa. For its final act, Sel de la Terre will feature one last pop-up, a noodle bar with a menu created by Bojorquez, L'Espalier pastry chef Jiho Kim and alum Alex Crabb. The menu is available for dinner from now until Sunday. Existing locations will remain in Back Bay and in Natick.
