Davis Square is about to get a new pan-Mexican restaurant with the opening of The Painted Burro on March 19. The restaurant comes from Pizzeria Posto chef-owner Joe Cassinelli, with Dante Bua, formerly of Mistral, serving as executive chef. The menu includes bar snacks like spiced olives in mezcal, appetizers a la a chile relleno with dried plums and walnut mole, taco plates and entrees such as whole snapper Veracruzana.
