The Epic Fenway Center; C-Town Price Chop

Carlos Zapata Studios/DHK Architects

It's time for the weekly contribution from our sister site Curbed Boston: Curbed Cuts, all the latest neighborhood news...

FENWAY - A state court ruling earlier this week means that the $450 million Fenway Center project can get under way. The first phase will involve a 102-unit apartment building along Brookline Avenue, a 750-space parking garage on a deck over the Mass. Pike, a pair of apartment building with 316 units total along Beacon Street, and retail that will include the organic grocer Harvest Co-op.

CHARLESTOWN - This 2-BR, 2-BA, 1,233-square-foot spread in the luxury Flagship Wharf building on the edge of Charlestown hit the market barely two weeks ago. On March 1, it whacked $181,000 off its asking price, knocking it down to $679,000 in one of the biggest price-chops of this young year in the Hub.
__

SOUTH BOSTON - Two units at 21 Wormwood Street in Southie have hit the market as a single listing asking $1,324,000. For that, you would get 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3,038 square feet and wind-tunnel spaciousness in the form of high ceilings and an open floorplan. Well, open to an extent. The bedrooms appear to be rather narrow, though redeemed a bit by the funky exposed brick.
