Controversial 'Blackout Parties' Flee Boston

The controversial traveling party known as Barstool Blackout Tour is leaving the city. The Herald reports that the tour's organizer is "pulling the plug" on a party series at the House of Blues after only of 500 of the 2,000 ticket holders were allowed through security and three hundred fake IDs were taken by inspectors from the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission.

Perhaps the crackdown has something to do with the fact that the organizer called Mayor Menino a hypocrite and responded to critics concerned about his promotion of excessive drinking and misogyny by calling them "Crazy Bitches" and "ugly dykes who hate pretty girls." Or was it because he compared himself to victims of genocide? Plans are going forward for the remaining two dates at the House of Blues, but after that the parties will be held elsewhere in the state.
