Tasty Burger is moving forward with plans to expand beyond Fenway and open a second location in Harvard Square in what is currently a 7-Eleven on JFK Street. The Harvard Crimson reports that the restaurant hopes to open in the fall after renovations that will equip the space with a new kitchen and a more “polished” look than the Fenway flagship, which the Crimson points out used to be a gas station. There is no specific opening date nor is there word as to whether Tasty Burger will hang on to the convenience store's entrancing breakfast sausage rolling machines or straws that culminate in shovels.
