The Charlestown Patch reports that Todd English's Charlestown restaurant Olives has managed to hang onto its liquor license for another 45 days: if the restaurant reopens after that point, we're guessing the Shirley Temples will be on the house. Olives closed after a fire in 2010 and has undergone a series of delays since them, some of which have been blamed on the building, and others on English himself. Rumors are also swirling about problems over at his Faneuil Hall restaurant Kingfish Hall. A local resident who tweets as @tlecam snapped the above photo of Olives when he noticed that the paper had come off the windows and the lights were on.
