Announcing the winner of yesterday's poll for Boston's Hottest Chef: Asia Mei of Sam's at Louis! That means Mei will go on to battle Chris Coombs, Michael Scelfo, Joanne Chang, Jason Santos, Rebecca Newell and the remaining chef who survives the first eight rounds. And now it's on to Round 7, the penultimate round before semi-finals begins: Matthew Barros of Market against Tim Maslow of Strip-T's and Michael Bergin of L'Espalier.
