Quincy's Blue22 Bar and Grille Closes

Blue22 Bar and Grille on Hancock Street in Quincy has closed, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. Perhaps the only Boston area restaurant with a "wings, fries, dumplings" section of the menu, Blue22 served standard bar fare like mozzarella sticks and sliders, Asian dishes like in-house dumplings, and lots of quasi-Asian dishes like tempura chicken fingers and cheese steaks stuffed into spring rolls. BRT says that Blue22 had been in business just under five years, but the venue doesn't seem to have had the luck of other local establishments with the word blue in their title, such as Blue Inc., The Blue Room, Blu, Bangkok Blue Thai, Bue Ribbon Barbecue, Bluefin, Blue Nile, the House of Blues, Blue Ginger, and Blue Star Restaurant.
