A new, mysterious restaurant called Green Bistro is slated to open on Washington Street in Brookline Village, says Boston Restaurant Talk. For now, little is known about the establishment besides its name and size. Clocking in at 189 seats it would be "one of the largest eateries in the neighborhood," which BRT notes based on info from last night's town Selectmen's Meeting, when a license was issued for the new establishment. Since there's nothing else known about Green Bistro, let's make some stuff up. It will be a French vegan restaurant, a 189 seat wheatgrass bar, or, to completely ignore the name and just to go with the trend, it will serve ramen.
