After ten months, The Floating Rock Restaurant has now closed. The Cambodian Central Square establishment served its last plate of larb and poured its last The Phenom of Phnom Penh cocktail yesterday. "Come on down for your last chance to get the amazing home cookin you just can't get anywhere else!!" wrote Floating Rock on Facebook. Boston Restaurant Talk notes that Floating Rock had moved to Central from Revere. As of now we haven't heard what will move into the space or if the restaurant will reopen elsewhere, though the definitive tone of its Facebook update suggests not. Perhaps the prospect of Moksa coming to the neighborhood was simply too much to face.
