Otto Pizza will indeed be expanding to Brookline as the pizzeria previously told Eater. Grub Street now reports that Otto will be taking over the site of a former Friendly's in Coolidge Corner, which is also slated to get Hops N Scotch, an upcoming restaurant and bar that just sounds like a bar. Portland based Otto's second Boston location will be much larger than the Harvard Square takeout operation. Otto last told us that its new venture would be "a 60 seat deal, same pie, some sort of elevated salads, beer and wine." Otto is also known for being the subject of Mario Batali's wrath, who lashed out at the company for bearing a name and logo similar to one of his own.
