Radisson's Theatre Cafe Will Be Revere's Emerald Lounge

The Theatre Cafe in what was the Radisson is slated to become the Emerald Lounge in what will become the Revere, a new, independent hotel coming to Stuart Street in Back Bay. "Red leather booths and chicken club sandwiches are being replaced by industrial light sculptures, DJs, and artisanal cheese plates," says an article in today's Globe. The change is part of a complete makeover for the building, which will be upping prices and amenities to earn luxury status. The Globe also reports that room attendants will don MassArt-designed uniforms and that Taza Chocolate and Bully Boy spirits will be served. Expect the new hotel to open by April
