Lineage Turns Six, George Howell Coffee Opens

BROOKLINE - Lineage in Coolidge Corner celebrates its 6th birthday with a night of passed snacks from guest chefs Jeremy Sewall, Rich Morin, Jody Adams, William Kovel, Chris Schlesinger, Michael Schlow, and Seth and Angela Raynor. NEWTONVILLE - George Howell Coffee is now open, and, according to the Globe, is the owner's first coffeehouse in 15 years after his 24-strong chain Coffee Connection was swallowed by Starbucks. Howell is also known for Terroir, his locally roasted brand of beans. [BG]
