Drinking for School Gardens; A Quebecois Sugar Shack

CAMBRIDGE - The CitySprouts Spring Cocktail Fundraiser takes place at the The Regattabar with tapas, wine and live jazz to benefit the host organization and its mission to up Boston's edible school garden game. Thursday, March 22nd, 6pm, $125. [Official Site via BRT]

SOUTH END - The Beehive promises to transform into a cabane à sucre, a Quebecois maple sugar shack and seasonal ritual feasting site, featuring chef Alexandre Loiseau and his team from Montreal's Bistro Cocagne. BACK BAY - As part of its African Heritage and Health program, the organization called Oldways has created a food pyramid geared specifically towards the nutritional needs of African Americans. The pyramid includes culturally relevant foods and was created with the help of the Boston Medical Center's Vivien Morris. [BG]
