DOWNTOWN CROSSING - Earlier today items from the recently closed, 137-year-old Locke-Ober went up for auction, and the Herald reports that almost 200 bidders showed up (in person and online) for stuff like "kitchen equipment, boxes of salt and pepper shakers and stacks of plates to Gibson Girl prints, a pool table and memorabilia such as old menus and gift certificates." The new owners of the space collected the take, which will somewhat help to offset the $3.3 million they ponied up to secure the spot for a new restaurant. [BH]
CAMBRIDGE - Oleana trots out new features for wine drinkers displayed on a board now on display at the bar. On said board: "Special glass pours, pairings and wine ephemera." [Twitter]
DOWNTOWN - First, space. Then, South Station. Local burger chain b.good has been busy lately, funding an epic voyage for one its burgers on top of preparing to open a new location downtown. Boston Restaurant Talk says the latest addition will appear at 84 Summer Street by next week. [BRT]
