Dance on The Bar at Boston Chops by Mid-January

The upcoming South End steakhouse Boston Chops from the Deuxave and dbar team plans to open in mid-January, says Grub Street. That post also says that Boston Chops will operate "at a much lower price point than at swanky Deuxave." The Herald previously reported that Boston Chops will be "a neighborhood twist on the steakhouse concept, with a raucous cocktail scene." Boston Chops has been a long time coming and experienced delays due to a lack of liquor license, but that's all set now. Meanwhile, over on Facebook, the restaurant has been sharing construction photos and comments that support the whole raucous cocktail scene notion, as in "Testing the bar wall to ensure it's structurally sound for dancing on!"
