Here's a rough look at what will soon be the Thinking Cup's second location in the North End as captured by local blogger Adam Castiglioni via Twitter. The new shop is an expansion from the company's flagship on Tremont just off the Common, and it plans on adding a new dimension to the ancient cannoli rivalry between neighborhood icons Mikes Pastry and Modern Pastry. Thinking Cup executive pastry chef Thao Nguyen-Rich previously told Chowder "We are going to definitely have cannoli—we want to be right in there between Modern Pastry and Mike's, and try to show them up." That moment now approaches.
