The owners of the the former Kee Kar Lau in Teele Square, which closed due to a fire on Halloween of 2011, have triumphantly returned to the scene with the new Chinese restaurant Chow n' Joy, now open on Somerville Ave near La Ronga Bakery. According to the restaurant's website, the menu has "a Cantonese twist," including some intriguing noodles dishes like beef ball noodles, Hong Kong wonton noodles, beef brisket noodles and crab noodles plus some pan-Asian items like pad thai and curry. Also featured: a smoothie bar, delivery, and wifi.
