QUINCY - Developers are trying to convince the city council to double the number of liquor licenses currently available for the upcoming $1.6 billion Quincy Center, which is slated for new restaurants. The Patriot Ledger quotes one developer as saying "We're not talking about bars, we're talking about restaurants." If the city approves the higher numbers, this part of town could become a truly serious center of new restaurant activity. [PL]
