The new North End location of the coffeeshop and bakery Thinking Cup is now open for business on Hanover Street. Last week the shop posted to Facebook, saying "Exciting news...Finally after 6 months we are open." An employee confirms that the new location features similar options as the original, which opened on Tremont Street right off the Common in 2010, including an extensive list of coffee drinks featuring Stumptown Coffee and sandwiches. Though, per Twitter, rolls at this location are baked by the nearby Bricco Paneteria. The hours for the new North End Thinking Cup are 7am to 10pm Monday through Thursday and 7am to 11pm Friday through Sunday. The company's pastry chef previously announced his intention to compete with the neighborhood's existing classic pastry shops: drop any impressions of how things stack up via the tipline.
