After delays that have caused The Sinclair to have to push back its opening date and cancel shows, tonight the Harvard Square music hall and restaurant finally opens... to some extent. The first show, Concrete Blonde, is indeed happening tonight, but the venue is not yet fully open to the general public. A representative tells Eater that from tonight on The Sinclair will be open "only on nights that we are hosting artists," and on those nights there will some menu items available.
Think of it this way: if you have tickets to one of the upcoming shows, you get a peek at what's in store for everyone else. Once again, the restaurant portion of the venue includes chef-restaurateur Michael Schlow as a consultant, Marcellus Coleman as chef, and cocktails from by Dave Werthman of the West Side Lounge. Stay tuned for the official opening date and, if you're going tonight, let us know how it goes.
