Celebrity chef, Boston restaurateur and controversy magnet Todd English has agreed to settle a lawsuit from the founder of Priceline for $232,607. The Herald reports that Priceline founder Jord Poster loaned English $100,000 in 2002 but had not been fully paid back by the time of his death in August. The Herald also says that English "ignored Poster's pleas to repay the money in the months prior to his death as he tried to 'settle his estate' for his two young sons." In an email, Poster wrote "I'm guessing that (unlike Elvis or Michael Jackson) my future earning potential goes way down after my death." Still, no dice, and so the lawsuit was filed in February. English has also been sued for $723,000 for unpaid rent at his recently reopened Charlestown restaurant Olives and for $1 million in unpaid rent at his now closed Faneuil Hall restaurant Kingfish Hall.
