Harpoon Brewery Beer Hall to Serve Beer and Pretzels

Well, here's one thing to make winter a bit cheerier. The Harpoon Brewery Beer Hall is on track to be completed in January, and it will provide space for 250 people to drink beers, fill growlers, and eat homemade pretzels, according to an official source. The glass-walled Beer Hall will live on the second floor of the existing Harpoon Brewery, located in the Seaport District, giving visitors the chance to drink while taking in some nice views of the city. While casual visitors will only have the pretzels (and "assorted toppings") to eat, groups can book a function area and choose from catering options. The real focus, though, is obviously the beer; there will be 20 Harpoons on tap, and an automatic growler filler will allow for easy purchase of copious amounts of beer. Visitors can sit at the bar or family-style tables, all made with salvaged Vermont wood.
