SOMERVILLE - Olde Magoun's Saloon is rolling out the cheese, big time. Starting November 7 and going every Wednesday this month, the bar features a special cheese-laden menu where one could, hypothetically, eat three courses of cheese. For instance: bacon double cheeseburger soup, grilled cheese sliders and pumpkin cheese cake. [Official Site, GS]

CAMBRIDGE - On Thursday Central Bottle in Central Square hosts its weekly Wine Bar. Up this week: the wines of Vietti winery. November 8, 5pm to 9pm, $12 to $20 per flight. [Official Site]

SANDY RELIEF - Help the Northeast recover from Hurricane Sandy by eating tons of regional seafood, says Sea to Table. "As Massachusetts fisherman and dock owner Jared Auerbach explains, 'If people could change their tastes for even one weekend and put [Northeast and New England] fish on their menu in place of the imported fish they're serving, it would really go a long way.'"
