Updated: Sapporo Ramen is Open Again

The beloved Sapporo Ramen in the Porter Exchange may be temporarily closed due to a noodle supply issue related to Hurricane Sandy. The restaurant could not be reached at this time to verify, but a post on Chowhound says the restaurant is closed for the time being and stresses the impermanent nature of the news by writing "This is TEMPORARY." According to the post, "they can't get their noodles from NYC due to Sandy's wrath." Stay tuned for confirmation and please share any updates via the tipline. In other Porter Square ramen news, the newly opened Japanese import YumeWoKatare will soon be extending its hours.
