Today, some of the biggest fall openings of 2012 are finally falling into place, and there's one more biggie in the pipeline. Puritan & Company opens tonight and Estelle's opens tomorrow, and don't forget that Cinquecento also opens in the South End tonight: the bar starts service at 4pm, the dining room at 5:30pm. How big of a deal is Cinquecento? So big that the Globe Magazine devoted ten pages to the restaurant's backstory almost a year ago. At long last, hungry South End denizens can taste the truth behind the hype, with dishes like gnocchi with wild boar and porchetta arrosto with roasted parsnips. Feel free to send any first impressions to the tipline.
